Our stuff is alltogether about 240 people. Among those are supervisory posts, laboratory staff.
Our agency is financed from the national budget.
The mission of our agency is to act on behalf of public health and a healthy living environment. Our vision: By 2025, all Estonian people will be aware of the health and living environment that supports health. This will be achieved by the Health Board, the people and the sincere cooperation of different parties. The Agency’s areas of activity are health, surveillance of communicable diseases and epidemic control, environmental health, chemical safety and the safety of medical devices.
