Katharina Vejdovszky
Department Risk Assessment
Katharina Vejdovszky studied at the University of Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna and holds a Master´s Degree in Biology, a Doctoral Degree in Food Chemistry and another Master´s Degree in Toxicology. In the course of her PhD thesis she worked on toxicological evaluations of combinatory effects in chemical mixtures. Working in the Department Risk Assessment of the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES) as a scientific expert, her tasks include toxicological evaluations and risk assessments of all kinds of chemical substances, mainly tobacco product ingredients and emissions, but also food contaminants.
