RENATA SOLIMINI

Renata Solimini is junior researcher at Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS), National Centre on Addiction and Doping, since 2006. Main scientific activities include documentation, scoping search and literature reviews in the field of tobacco, drugs of abuse and doping. This research activity has been finalized at collaborating in the preparation of technical reports and scientific advice requested for specific topics, informative material, monographs, guidelines and scientific papers. Among the main scientific information analyzed and summarized is the available evidence on toxicity and adverse health effects of electronic cigarettes, tobacco-related issues such as treatment and cessation of tobacco smoking, and other research involving medical use of cannabis, anabolic androgenic steroids and issues related to doping, new synthetic opioids, cannabinoids, and other psychoactive illicit drugs.
