Elena Demosthenous, Sociologist, MA in European Integration. Officer in the Policy Department of the National Addictions Authority of Cyprus. Responsible officer in thesmoking sector. Monitoring and coordinating the implementation of the actions included inthe National Strategy regarding the issues of smoking. Previous experience on EUprogrammes: Co-coordinating officer (act as assistant project manager), in the EuropeanPact Against Synthetic Drugs (JUST 2013) – Project title: ‘New Psychoactive Substances (NPS):Building knowledge and evidence-based training through research’.
