Angeliki Lambrou, RN, MPH, ScD, epidemiologist has been nominated as the contact person of the National Public Health Organisation (NPHO) for JATC-2.
Dr. Lambrou holds a Doctor of Science in Epidemiology and Environmental Health from Harvard University, Boston, USA. She is currently the Head of Directorate of Epidemiology and Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases and Injuries in NPHO. She has extensive working experience in coordinating and implementing surveillance systems, designing, and initiating web-based applications in surveillance, participating in outbreak investigations and research projects as well as teaching/training different target audiences including students, health, and public health professionals in Europe and USA.
She has served as national focal point for ECDC and scientific advisor/supervisor for EPIET and MediPIET. Country investigator for JAs and other EC projects (JAMRAI, CARE) and author and contributor author in books, scientific papers, and newsletters.
