Head of the Department
Zsuzsa Cselkó, MD, is a Preventive Medicine and Public Health specialist (Semmelweis University, Budapest) and the Head of the Department of Health Management and Methodology at the National Korányi Institute of Pulmonology.
Responsible for training, writing, and editing guidelines on smoking cessation, as well as developing and managing cessation programmes and projects.
She has published comprehensive reviews on the smoking habits in Hungary, electronic cigarettes, and heated tobacco products.
She coordinated the Hungarian activities in the Eastern Europe Centre of Excellence for Tobacco Control international project with the aim to educate nurses in smoking cessation.
