Melinda Pénzes
Assistant Professor
Melinda Pénzes has got an M.D. degree at the University of Szeged, Hungary, has a postgraduate specialty in preventive medicine and public health, has a Ph.D. degree in Health sciences (Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary), and she is a trained smoking cessation counselor. She works at the Health Services Management Training Centre at Semmelweis University as an assistant professor.
She has conducted research in the field of tobacco science since 2007. Her main research interests are monitoring tobacco/nicotine use; patterns, health effects and motivations of emerging tobacco/nicotine product use; monitoring the effect of tobacco control policies.
