Caitriona Stack
Senior Environmental Health Officer
Caitriona Stack obtained her BSc. Honours Degree in Environmental Health with a Diploma in Industrial Studies from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland in 1998.
She took up her first position as an Environmental Health Officer in Edinburgh and continued her career working for the Health Service Executive in Ireland in 2002. She became a Senior Environmental Health Officer in 2005, and she has worked in Food Safety, Tobacco Control and Early Years Services Inspection. Since 2015, she had taken up a position in the Tobacco Control Operation Unit, focusing on the Tobacco Products Directive, in particular market surveillance of electronic cigarettes and refill containers. She was an active member in JATC.
She now has a permanent position with the National Tobacco Control Office. Caitriona is a former Chair and Deputy Chair of the Environmental Health Association of Ireland.
