Damien Burns
Grade VI
Damien Burns is employed as a Grade VI in the corporate offices of the Environmental Health Services.
Damien has worked in the Environmental Health Services since 2007. During that time, he has provided project management and overall financial management to the following EU projects – COPHES, HBME2U, SHIPSAN and JATC. Within the Environmental Health Services Damien provides overall monthly financial analysis and commentary for the national budget of environmental health and also manages and maintains a monthly activity report for the service.
Previously Damien was the System Manager for the NTCIS- an information system used nationally by Environmental Health Officers to record tobacco-inspection-data and he also acted as secretary to the Steering Group established to develop the NTCIS.
