Dolors Carnicer-Pont
Senior Researcher
Dolors Carnicer-Pont, MD, MPH, PhD, is a senior researcher at the ICO Tobacco Control Unit and she participated in the “Joint Action on Tobacco Control ‘3rd programme of the European Commission, 2016-2019 and she currently participates in the “Joint Action on Tobacco Control 2021-2024”.
She has trained and worked as an epidemiologist with the European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET) and most recently with the Health Protection Agency of the United Kingdom as a locum Consultant of communicable disease control (CCDC) doing epidemiological surveillance and outbreak detection and control. She also worked with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in development and assessment of humanitarian projects as well as a consultant in the vaccine department for the World Health Organization (WHO).
