He is the Head of the Department for non-smoker protection, legal and technical matters of tobacco and related products, alcohol and behavioural addictions. Member of the Executive Committee of the Pompidou Group within the European Council in Strasbourg, Head of the Austrian Delegation to the WHO/FCTC. Vice President of the EU Monitoring Centre of Drugs and Drug Addiction in Lisbon. Dir. General MoH. President of the Board of Trustees of the Anton Proksch Institute Vienna.
