Johannes Brug

Johannes Brug, PhD in Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Ir. Brug obtained a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and epidemiology from Wageningen University & Research and a PhD in Health Sciences from Maastricht University.
In addition to the aforementioned positions, he has been chair of the permanent food committee and member of the presidency committee of the Nutrition Council. He was also a member of various supervisory boards, including the Netherlands Nutrition Center. Furthermore, he was a member of several editorial boards of scientific journals and of various advisory committees in the field of prevention and health promotion.
Brug is a past president of the International Society of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (ISBNPA). Hans Brug is an Honorary Professor at the Faculty of Health, Medicine, Nursing and Behavioural Sciences at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia and the first editor of the Dutch handbook on Health Education and Behaviour Chang.
